About this cabin: Oak House is a beautifully designed house accommodating up to 5 guests (plus a toddler up to 2.5 years old). The decor and the use of warm colors and wooden materials create a welcoming atmosphere. Here, you’ll feel right at home!
Upon entering, you’ll leave your coat and shoes at the coat rack. You’ll then find yourself in the living area with the kitchen, dining room, and sitting area. Large windows throughout the house provide views of the surrounding forests.
French doors open onto the forest view. At the front of the house, you’ll find a veranda and a garden with a cozy outdoor seating area. In the evenings, enjoy a homemade campfire under the starry sky, warm up in the hottub, or cool off under the (unheated) outdoor shower. The luxurious hottub operates on biofuel. With just a push of a button, your hottub will be heated within 2 to 3 hours. Time to bubble!
The modern kitchen of Oak House is equipped with a kitchen island and all the amenities you need. Perfect for a delightful evening of cooking together. The long, cozy dining table is ideal for wine and game nights. It’s also a great spot if you need to get some work done. From the comfortable sofa, you can enjoy hours of forest views through the large window.
The house has two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom features a double Queen-size Auping bed and offers forest views through a round window. The second room has two single Auping beds that can be joined together, plus an extra single bed with an Auping mattress. Beautiful and soft quality linens are provided on all beds.
The spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower and a freestanding double bathtub. What makes it extra special is the view from the bath onto a charming inner garden. You’ll also find towels, bathrobes, and organic Meraki products in the bathroom.
In winter, you’ll stay cozy with the flames of the pellet stove and underfloor heating while listening to the Tiny Hotel playlist from the speaker. In summer, the air conditioning on both floors ensures coolness.
Location
Located in the countryside, just 2 kilometers from the center of Nistelrode, you’ll discover the small-scale nature park ‘The Forest’. Here stands Oak House, a home nestled in a nature reserve, surrounded by wooded surroundings. Right next to the stylish holiday home are two other vacation homes: ‘Pine House’ and ‘Willow House’. Of course, we’ve ensured plenty of privacy and freedom so you can fully enjoy your getaway. On the premises, you’ll find various amenities, such as a public sauna, go-karts, and a mini playground.
The park itself is car-free; parking is available in the parking lot along with a charging point for electric cars. Convenient carts are ready to transport your belongings easily to your vacation home. This way, we take good care of all the animals living in the woods. Good to know: there is no reception on-site. You’ll check in and out contactlessly by yourself.
The sauna can be booked for 25 euros per stay. During your entire stay, you can use the public sauna (shared with the other houses in the nature park). And the view from the sauna? It’s also the beautiful forests!
